How to find us.
By Car
*** Please note that temporarily there is some building work going on around the school which means that parking is restricted until it is completed. The university is building a state of the art aeronautical research unit sponsored by Boeing and Rolls Royce.. so I guess we cant complain. Access should free up again by spring 2016.
The upshot is that you have to find parking wherever you can and walk to the school down the pedestrian access way. The best area to park is to the right when you hit the authorised vehicles only sign.
M1 (from the North)
Exit the M1 at junction 14 and position yourself in the left hand lane, take the 1st exit at the roundabout onto London Road. Immediately turn right towards Mousloe. Continue on this road (passing through Moulsoe) for 1.5 miles and take the 1st exit (left) at the roundabout.
M1 (from the South)
Exit M1 at junction 13, and take the 4th exit onto Bedford Rd, at the next roundabout, take the 1st exit and onto Salford Rd. Continue for 1.5 miles and turn right onto Cranfield Rd (signposted to the university). Continue on this road for 1.5 miles and take the 2nd exit (straight on) at the roundabout.
Continued (both routes)
Take the 2nd exit (bearing right) at the following roundabout take the 1st exit (bearing left). Continue until you see a green RVP sign and turn right. When you reach the bottom of this road, turn right and then left and continue straight towards the control tower when you will see the sign for Cranfield Flying School.
